Kernel Panic!

Yeah, again. But now it happened with the Mac I work, with me sitting in front of it. I was telling how Windows is unstable, and worshiping heaven because Mac stand anything, and another kernel panic hapenned.

I can't remember for sure what the applications I was running, but I guess that Firefox, iTunes (restoring my iPod), QuickTime was runnig, and updating the system, more exactly Java. Suddenly a grey tone committed my desktop and a black box appeared on the center of the screen, telling me to restart the computer in four different languages. Visually it was gracefull, but scary on praxis.

So I restarted the computer and Finder brought the sistem report (if somebory else undestand this lines below, please tell me on the comments):

It's the second time I see this error and I hope it never repeat. Mac OS X may not be perfect, but being the OS that almost is, it always scares when those things happens.

P.S.: Before a Windows/Microsoft fanboy come to the comment box, I'll let here my sarcastic thought of the day:

Don't laught of a Kernel panic. As it is a rare phenomenon on Mac OS X and on Linux that can be called historical event (I never saw it on Linux), on Windows it's a routine!

P.S.2 (not the Playstation): This night while I was on an insomnia thinking how could I do my portfolio (that's my last week on the Mac atelier on the University even I don't renew my contract), I promised myself that woulnd't talk about informatic and operating systems on my other blog on March.

P.S.3 (not the Playstation, again): How can I pay for a webhosting on Bluehost, without an international credit card and PayPal account, living on Brasil?

Today I've watched the Blogumentary, a film by Chuck Olsen and I just think it is the greatest thing a person made on the web (if you think on video) since... ahn... I really don't know. But it reminds me that video about web 2.0.

So, I've closed the Firefox tab and started to think: "WOW! Why all this people in this world don't see this POWER?!"

Here in Brazil, just 8,31% of people have internet acess, and of this percentage, the most is from the high classes. I just can't believe that all that people just worry about using IM and Orkut. Seriously, I don't know if the brazilian high classes are almost all stupid and foolish dudes or if usign IM and Orkut is so preatty good that way. Ok, I'm not from the high class, so I don't need to worry about it, hehe!

It was never my intention talk about the failure of brazilan society, and I know that anything about Brazil's progress tends to fail. The grown of a nation starts in the minds of the people, and Brazil don't have people; it have colonizers.

I bet you, the reader, saw the episode of that stupid brazilian model that winned YouTube battle, and the forced the brazilian justice to block YouTube. I mean, it's just one more prove that Brazil don't know how to deal with this media, with the internet.

Watching Chuck's movie I've decided: I don't wanna be like annother brazilian on the crowd; I want to make the difference.

It's the second time I start a blog with pourpose to be the english version of my blog. Well, let's introduce myself:

I am a brazilian girl, I have a not very well english, but I have to improve it, so why not improve it writing a blog? My "official blog" has some visits coming from countries where the official language is english, so I've decided to write here the best texts from it to spread my thoughts with a more universal way, in this universal language.

Well, let's see this blog growing. I hope.
